Tanya Herndon
Client Manager
Tanya joined SIMA in March of 2022 as a Client Services Specialist to assist both benefits clients and the team. Her extensive background in customer service made her the perfect fit to join the benefits team. Along with serving clients, Tanya will work with Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to provide support internally. She will be involved with helping the team with client renewals to client enrollments. Building a one-on-one relationship while helping provide solutions for challenges is what Tanya enjoys most about her position. She excels in listening to clients’ needs and helping them develop a solution. She prides herself on continuously following up to ensure clients’ needs are met and goals are accomplished.
Prior to joining SIMA, Tanya obtained both her FEMA certification and EMT certificate. A native to Martinsville, VA, Tanya currently resides in Chesterfield County with her husband Patrick and three wonderful boys Weston, Aiden, and Reid. She enjoys spending quality time with her family traveling to areas in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the North and South Carolina beaches to create memories to last a lifetime. Outside of the office, you will typically find her taking her children to local sports games or cheering them on while they play golf and baseball. As a family, they love to cheer on their favorite NFL team the San Francisco 49ers. Though they are a house united when it comes to the 49ers, they are a house divided when it comes to college football with Tanya routing for the Tar Heels while her husband Patrick routes for the Blue Devils.
