Steve Jenkins, MS, GBDS

Steve brings to SIMA over twenty years of experience in healthcare and insurance working for companies including MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Northwestern Mutual. He has worked in the Medicare, Employer Benefit and the Individual healthcare market and is nationally certified as a Group Benefit Disability Specialist. In addition to his vast experience in insurance, Steve also boasts a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. Having run his own agency for eight years, Steve can readily empathize with the challenges employers/business owners face and knows personally how critical financial operations and efficiencies are to the success of a business. That knowledge has inspired Steve to partner with SIMA and provide effective solutions to those who are most apt to benefit from SIMA integration. Those who work with Steve commend his exceptional “old school service” in an increasingly tech-driven industry. The ability to pair human empathy and accountably is something Steve imparts on his children, grandchildren, and the young people he helps prepare for the business world as a volunteer at Powhatan High School.
