Alex Garrett, FPC

Alex currently serves as a Certified Payroll Specialist and has been with SIMA since 2022. A graduate of Christopher Newport University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, she came from a legal background and offers SIMA a wide range of experience. Alex was looking for a career change and excitedly dove into the payroll world. Her interpersonal skills and experience building client relationships make her a joy to work with, as she prioritizes her client needs and goes above and beyond on a daily basis. Alex understands that client needs vary from business to business. She believes finding a solution is what makes her job fun and challenging!

Alex is a native of Richmond, Virginia. When not working, she enjoys adventuring with her pit-bull, Dottie. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family and exploring the outdoors. She calls her “happy place” the beach, but the mountains are a close runner-up. Alex enjoys going for runs and exercising with friends, but also takes advantage of her lazy days while binge watching Grey’s Anatomy or reading a good murder mystery.
